When booking a photoshoot with Forest Heart Photography, I like to go through a specific process to make the experience as stress free for my clients as possible.

The first step is the photoshoot, we will choose a place to meet, I can get to know you and your horse and we can begin taking photos! I like my photos to be natural, so I don’t usually do posing, just tell you to be natural with your horse, like it’s just the two of you and I will capture the moment. If you have any inspiration photos you’d like to recreate with poses, we can absolutely do that too.

I will then download your photos and begin the editing process, I usually take around 500-1000 photos per shoot, and carefully go through them, deciding which ones will go through to the editing phase. I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to edit a lot of my images, while still keeping them as natural as possible.

The final stage is creating your gallery for you to flick through and choose your photos, there is usually about 50-100 photos to choose from (depending on your photoshoot duration) and you can favourite whichever photos you’d like to keep. I then make any finishing touches on these images, and send you a downloading link to your favourited photos. Then the photos are all yours to post or print however you wish! All I ask is that if you decide to post these on social media, you must not claim these pictures as taken by yourself. And please do not make any edits to the final picture, if you aren’t happy with your image I am very open so please tell me and we can go through the editing together! I’d love to be tagged in your pictures if you do decide to post them ☺️
