Hi, I’m Freya or you may know me as Forest Heart Photography. I began Forest Heart Photography in 2024 doing photoshoots within my area, the New Forest, which is when I fell in love with equine photography. I’m 16, self taught and progressing more every day in my photography journey, every photoshoot helps me to create new experiences and learn along the way.
My journey
Photography has its highs and its lows, but most importantly it trains the eye to see the hidden beauty in nature. I like to offer a wide range of photoshoots, so that not only can the horse and rider be comfortable in their surroundings but I also appreciate the fact that not everyone likes to pose in front of a camera, which is why I offer ridden or lesson sessions. I mainly enjoy this job because I get to see such a wide variety of beautiful horses, but I also get to appreciate the bonds between horse and rider, which you don’t get to see often. Photography is such a beautiful thing, that is why I created Forest Heart.
